Find your New Build

Before buying your property in France

Why, where and what type of French new home buying?

The very first thing you have to do is know your needs otherwise you will spend hours on the internet, magazines and books and get more and more confused at the time of making your choice. If you are considering buying in France it is supposedly because you like the country.

But do you know precisely why and what you love in it? You must be aware of the purpose of your purchase, the lifestyle you’re looking for, your areas of interest, the climate you’re expecting and the budget you can devote to your purchase.

This is why we have set up a very detailed questionnaire to help you in your ‘quest’ as well as a guide of the French regions we cover. You’re not obliged to fill in the questionnaire and send it back to us. You can just keep it to yourself as a tool to suggest you a list of things you should bear in mind when doing your search.

Choosing your French property

With or without the aid of our detailed questionnaire and French regions guide you have spent some time browsing at our selected properties and now you are really eager to go further! You have to contact us for further information if needed, but above all for us to check the availabilities of the properties you’re interested in.

As stated before, French developments are designed primarily for the domestic market so stocks vary all the time. For us to check with our partners developers we need to know your expectations as precisely as possible so don’t hesitate to fill in our detailed questionnaire or our express request form.

Taking up an option

We have agreed with our partners to be able to take an option on a property without of course any commitment for you to buy. The free option can last from 24h to a few days, taking into account that you have to arrange your viewing trip.

The length of the option will vary and depend on the availabilities on a development and its popularity. Give us your shortlist of 2 or 3 properties so that we can book your second or third choice in case your first one has been sold. It is important to take an option on a property you really like so that you remove it from the market during your decision process.

The advantage of working with several partners is that we can book option with different developers or even take several options with the same partner but on different developments.

Visiting the site

Once you have set up your mind on a few properties and that we have secured options on your behalf, your next step is to cross the Channel (or one of the Oceans!) and meet us on the selected sites. Give us your trip details and we will come back to you with a schedule of visits to optimise your time in France.

For your travel arrangements you can consult our ‘carnet d’adresses’ where we have thrown a handful of hotels and restaurants addresses that we like. For access details consult the international access section of each development displayed on the website.

Since we know well the regions we cover we can help you in setting up your trip. Our company, although we hope pleasant, is not compulsory and of course free of any commitment. You can also visit on your own if you prefer.
