Step 4 : VAT refund

  • When buying a French leaseback property you will get the VAT paid back or you simply won’t have to pay it because the management company will pre-finance it for you.
  • As you have been paid back of the VAT you have entered the French VAT system which requires quarterly VAT returns. The resort management company may handle this for you and provide a tax statement service as part of the package or against a fee.
