A sunny and mild Atlantic climate

Being bordered by the Atlantic Ocean the Landes enjoy therefore a mild climate with around 1,850 hrs of sunshine a year.

Winters are mild thanks to the Atlantic influence. As the rest of the southern Atlantic Coastline, summers often enjoy records for highest temperatures but nights are fresh.

The average day temperatures recorded in Mont De Marsan are the following:
Summer: 26,2°C
Automn: 14,8°C
Winter: 12,8°C
Spring: 20,8°C
